The Town of Woodland's Building Ordinance and building applications are available at the Town Office. Any and all construction requires a permit. The fee is outlined in the ordinance.

With proof of Identification, here at the Town office, you can purchase certified copies of vital records such as births, deaths, and marriages. The first certified copy will cost $15.00 and every copy after that is $6.00 (if all records pertain to the same person). To obtain a Marriage License, please call to make an appointment as the process can take some time to do.
There are recycling bins available at the Town Office as well! Do your part to "Go Green"!
The Town of Woodland provides a General Assistance Program for those in need of emergency assistance and is available to those residents who qualify. This is a state regulated program in which you need to file an application with the Administrator to determine eligibility.
Division On Addictions is an organization that helps vulnerable Maine residents who are addicted to drugs or alcohol locate proper treatment options. Alcoholism and drug addiction are terrible crises affecting all ages in our communities – from teenagers to senior citizens.
